Asset tracking in Copio

Copio’s asset tracking brings assets, debts and net worth into one view. The financial situation framework adds household context: available capital, reserves and upcoming needs. This is a preview of the app before launch.

01

A total with context

Look at assets and debt together. A growing asset balance alone does not tell you whether your overall position is improving.

02

Separate cash from investments

Understand the difference between money available for near-term needs and money exposed to market movements.

03

Follow your progression

Review your financial position over time. Use the history to start better questions about saving, borrowing and investing.

The household balance sheet

Know what you own. And what you need.

Net worth is your assets minus your debts. The financial situation framework adds the context behind that total: emergency reserves, planned withdrawals, property and shared commitments. It distinguishes account information from details you provide, and flags that resource categories may overlap. This is how the balance sheet connects to the whole household.

Your questions,
answered.

What does asset tracking mean?

Asset tracking is keeping a record of what you own and how its value changes. Copio’s net worth view also includes debt, so you can see your overall financial position rather than assets alone.

How is net worth calculated?

Net worth equals the value of assets minus outstanding liabilities. The result depends on the completeness and freshness of the underlying balances and valuations.

Is a rise in net worth the same as an investment return?

No. Saving more, paying down debt, adding an asset and market movements can all change net worth. A net worth chart should not be read as a portfolio performance chart.

Which institutions can I connect?

Connection coverage will depend on your institution, account type and launch market. This preview does not promise support for every bank or asset. Join the waiting list for launch details.
